Our Thrilling Journey at #IFCTF Finals

😎✨🎈We've done it big this time🎈✨😎

We are excited and proud to share an amazing result from the recent Internet Festival Capture The Flag Competition (#IFCTF) Finals in which we participated. It was an unforgettable experience that exceeded all our expectations.

Our team, M0nt3C4rl0, joint with Pwnzer0tt1 team, "#FoocHackz" achieved an incredible third place at the Italian level and an amazing fifth place at the international level! This achievement is truly amazing, especially considering that it was achieved in such a short time. We started this adventure only a few months ago, which shows our commitment and constant dedication towards the goal of constantly improving.

We had the unique opportunity to challenge teams from all over the world, some of whom have been competing in this field for as many as 10 years. The 24 hours of competing without sleep, fueled by considerable amounts of energy drinks, was an intense and at the same time extraordinary experience. But it was not only a competition, it was also an opportunity to socialize and make connections with foreign teams, in particular, we spent an unforgettable evening with SaturnX, a Korean team (special thanks to Byung-Il Yoo and Yohan Won). We shared laughter, experiences and exchanged contacts, creating a friendship that we hope to cultivate over time.

We would like to express a huge thank you to the RJC Soft S.r.l. company that hosted the event and to the fibonhack team that organized the competition during the #InternetFestivalPisa. Without them, this would not have been possible. Also, a very special thanks to Andrea Cottone, Alessio Apollonio, Antonio Romeo, simone bracaloni and Aleandro Prudenzano who made us feel at home. We sincerely hope to have the opportunity to participate in the IFCTF again next year and continue to challenge ourselves and grow as a team. It was an incredible accomplishment and we look forward to taking on new challenges and continuing to grow in the world of cybersecurity.
